About Dr McGrath

Dr McGrath obtained her medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1997, thereafter completing her Diploma of Child Health with the College of Medicine of South Africa (Paediatrics) in 1999. She worked in General Practice and assisted in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in South Africa and immigrated to Australia in 2003.  She started in General Practice in Wollongong in 2005, completed her Australian Medical Certificate in 2007, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. Dr McGrath is a member of the Australian Medical Association. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the University of Wollongong and is involved in teaching medical students from the University of Wollongong.
